Vintage Roses At The End Of Another Lovely May

I thought I would share the last of the first blush of roses with you. It was a promising start before an unusual freeze this spring, but we have enjoyed a few gorgeous displays so far.

The white roses produced the best, but I have gathered up more colorful roses of a different kind to keep them company.

It's been awhile since I sat in the garden with a few of my favorite teacups and prints. I have layered an old vintage curtain of roses underneath.

I posted about the PARIS in BLOOM book earlier in the season, and just had to possess the other rose book by Georgianna Lane, VINTAGE ROSES. Such a treat!

The perfect time of day for a little break under the trees at the end of another beautiful May.

This vintage panel only sees sunshine a couple of times of year as if it has its own spring and summer blooming. . . .

We may be far from the ocean, but a little bit of sea glass blue keeps things cool before a long hot week ahead settles in.

Thanks for joining me and my vintage roses for a cheery soiree under the cottonwood trees!

So nice that you stopped by!

Wishing you many rosey days ahead!

Jacqueline

What a sweet post. Love the roses, sea glass and cabbage rose fabric. I just won the Paris in Bloom book from a blogger and have been enjoying it! We are having a great spring with great weather. My one rose bush is growing nicely but no blooms just yet!

Your beautiful table and flowers are a wonderful way to celebrate yet another gorgeous Georgiana Lane book. I'd be delighted to take a seat at that table any day -- and I'll bet it all smells fabulous!

Looks like lots of romantic cottage garden dinning is in your days ahead... This is beautifully romantic Jacqueline, I too am getting my garden in shape for more entertaining outside this summer.

Love your table set with roses and more roses, you always inspire linen filled vintage beauty.
