Tea Plates and A New Silver Pattern

The first thing I thought when I saw these dainty little plates was that they were something that Rachel Ashwell might own. So I snapped them right up!

A perfect set of four.

I thought they would look nice with my Old Country Roses teacups. But with the all over rose design they will make a nice mix with many other tea cup patterns as well.

The teapot is Johnson Brothers.

We also found a lovely set of French style flatware with my favorite monogram. This Signature pattern by International Silver Co. was last made in 1950. Still quite commonly found with a variety of monongrams.

A matelasse cover makes for a nice early morning stage by the windows.

Such a sweet way to start the day!

I hope this last week of March is a good one for you!

So nice that you stopped by!

  6. I don't think I've ever seen a Johnson Bros. pattern I don't like! That teapot has a wonderful shape! I need to do some research on some plates I have. They say Haviland France on the back but I haven't been able to find anything similar! Your florals reminded me!

Sounds like fun with a sister. Wish I had one of those!

  7. Are the plates and flatware keepers? Or will they go in your shop? I wish your shop was in my neck of the woods.
