October Garden

In addition to all the chasing hot air balloons, and the climbing. . .

We took time out for a few of the gentler pursuits during these fantastic October days with family.

We have a lovely city garden near the aquarium that takes on a softer look for fall.

We all meandered in our own direction over the peaceful grounds.

Taking in all the beauty that the last of the season has to offer. . . .

I am not much of a gardener so I can't tell you the names of many of these plants, but I do know gorgeous when I see it!

(The sign tells me these hugging vines are Chinese Wisteria)

(Wish I could nab these when they are all dried and done!)

Love this spectacular fountain in this Mediterranean style garden space.

Love the mums in bushel baskets all over the park.

Such a lovely time of year!

 Breaking the fun meter!

I hope it's a great weekend ahead for you too!

Jacqueline

Hi Jacqueline,
My roses are still going strong too. Yours are beautiful. We are having a frost warning for tonight so not sure how much longer my flowers will hold out. Have a great Friday and wonderful week end.

Those flowers are so pretty in the baskets and that reminds me to cut my dried hydrangeas tonight before our first frost.
I guess this is a nice time of year I usually get down in the mouth in the fall knowing all my flowers are done till spring. However I love the cold winter.
You take such pretty pictures

I just love walls around a garden, so secret garden :-) The sweet cherubs at the bottom of the fountain and adorable playing in the splash! All the Roses!!! The lovely trailing plant is Silver Falls Dycondra, one of my favorites around here, I had no idea it was tough enough for your Summers!!!
Thanks for taking me along on your garden tour!!!
