White Wednesday & Lost In The Fifties

Here are a few more highlights from our road trip to Dallas, TX and back. We saw a bazillion different vintage items along our path over the last week! One of the most impressive shops was called "Lost In The 50's" in the town of Clovis NM. One of the largest linen collections I have ever seen.

We visited another immense antiques mall, Grand Central Station Antiques, in Lubbock, TX. Here are just a few wonderful booths and items that captured my attention.

This booth had wonderful displays.

Loved the styling in this booth too!

My favorite corner of the shop was The Nest Egg which had a heavy accent on French Style, and a wonderful mix of old and new. . . .

I wanted all of these. . .

Needless to say, I came back bursting with fresh inspiration!

Still finding ground around here, but I hope you're having a great week! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy White Wednesday!

Jacqueline

I want the whole store! Linen heaven for sure! I would like to have closets and closets full. Sad thing is right now I've sold most of mine 50's stuff. The white hankie display, the sweet christening dress-all so pretty!

Hi J,
Well you may have been lost in the fifties, but I have been lost in my own backyard, haha!! I have been catching up! I love big old flat Texas.... the church is amazing, here it would be covered in moss and rotting away, you have true ghost towns... fabulous!! Those bunnies with the glittered ears are darling!! I can't wait to see your newest goodies:-)
Hugs,
B

So glad you enjoyed a nice trip to Dallas. I hope our weather was nice while you were here. Love the pics from the mall in Lubbock. So many gorgeous pretties there. We lived in Lubbock for 7 years and get back now and then. It has grown over the years but still a special place.
Thanks for sharing the inspiring photos.
Have a great weekend.

Oh such happy moments going through an antique mall - especially when it is a "new" one! I'm so glad they have bathrooms. I get so excited - I always have to go!

Oh my goodness, Jacqueline, what wonderful shops! Where to begin.... polished cotton; enamel laundry tubs; old glass doorknobs from my childhood (I used to think they were enormous diamonds...); boudoir lamps. And on and on. How did you ever escape without having to hire a van? Honestly, it took me a long time to get through this post, each picture was a treasure trove!
