Jolly Holiday

Maybe you already know how early you have to get to the "magic kingdom" in order to get a shot of the empty streets. But early in the morning on a day of record heat, it's the only way to go.

It's been ages since we went to where everything you see is larger than life!

And shop where there's a little something for everybody. . . .

And where you can get a lifetime quota of "PRINCESS".

No shortage of dazzle and bling either!

It looked a tad early for Indiana Jones too. . . .

The prop capital of the world!

No shortage of pirates.

Or riverboats.

A little New Orleans flavor was fun.

Pretty windows.

Hey, maybe I could really get into that princess thing. . . .

 A pretty little Haunted Mansion.

Everybody said to eat at the Blue Bayou.

Where day turns instantly to night.

And you think you must be dreaming!

It all felt like Mr.Toads Wild Ride!

And then it was over!

See you next time kids!
Have a great weekend!

Jacqueline

  5. We have not been to Disney(Fla.) since CC was three. I confess to not liking it in the heat and have always been told to go at Thanksgiving when it is cool and decorated for Christmas.

This looked like quite an action packed day. Your images are beautiful.
I tend to agree with you about those dinner prices, a tad steep.

  8. Great photos of Disneyland. I have been there many times as I live close. I love the chandeliers. You got some beautiful shots of them. How you got the deserted photos of Disneyland I don't know-I had no idea it was that deserted in the morning.
