My Visit to VIGNETTES at Ocean Beach

Even when you've heard of it, seen pictures, and already know it's going to be great, there's really no way to be prepared for Vignettes at Ocean Beach, San Diego.

Just peeking in the windows, you know you're in for something fantastatic.

Just enter the front door and hold on to your hat!

Sensory overload!!!!

I even got to see that painted upholstery thing! Very cool!

Hat box.

"Now this is cool. . . . Very cool," said Mr. Cottage of these mason jars on stems.

There is a set of four of these. Ask me if I like them.

Oh my, visit if you ever can!
Me? I have to go get back in my body now!
Back soon,

Jacqueline

Okay...I'm coming up for air now. I was drowning in a sea of beauty and the shell art almost gave me the bends! Creativity out the wazoon!
Speaking of creativity...you know that A. Hepburn quote...girl you need to pay close attention to the words and submit these photos to one of the shelter mags. Every one of them is stunning!

P.S. I will now resume licking the monitor!

Wow...I wish I lived in San Diego so I could go there! Everything is just beautiful...I can't honestly pick a favorite photo. I was drooling over all those beautiful chandeliers and light fixtures and the pile of lacy crocheted pillows....then I saw the seahorse made of shells! Beautiful! That might be my favorite!

Amazing! LOVE this place. I think that might be heaven. Love all the pillows, the chandeliers, chairs---I can't think of anything I saw I didn't want!

I moved to Ventura from OB 35 years ago. If Vignettes existed then, it definitely wasn't as wonderful as it looks now. It sounds like you had a pretty wonderful stay in San Diego.

Good grief!? I'm hyperventilating just looking at these photos, Jacqueline. How did you ever manage to drag yourself out of that lovely shop?? Those French white cane chairs... those soft off the shoulder blouses... *sigh* Just so lovely. What a beautiful place.
