The Happy Whites

Sleek, uncluttered, and spare, white can be crisp and smart looking. A modern decor with straight lines and expanses of white can be utterly soothing and serene. But the happy whites are all about texture and detail to me. I like to be entertained by a hint of pearly pink, a glint of gold, lacy shapes, and nubby txtures. Groups of various white objects give me energy, and even seem to sing together. And they're the whites that make me the happiest. . . .

Wishing you a Happy White Wednesday too!

  6. Hi Jacqueline-

What wonderful pictures you share! I have a weakness for vintage dishes and pitchers. The one with the little flowers is just darling.

As someone who crochets, I appreciated the doilies. Never seen one with beads like that brown one, but it's stunning.

Thank you for visiting my blog tonight. I'd love to see you drop by whenever you can.
