Limoges for Dessert

Limoges china reflects the very definition of Romantic Style. In fact the pattern I just discovered in a thrift store looks a bit like the fabric on the cover of Selina Lake's book.

The waning light lends a little romantic haze to the dessert table where a mix of china is laid out.

The pale pink flowers unite everything, but there is also a hint of blue.

I've never seen this Haviland and Co. pattern before. How about you?

The delicate design is perfect for a ladies lunch or tea.

It's amazing how similar so many floral spray patterns are, as is found in this little ironstone pitcher that I have shown before.

Dessert anyone? A new glass dome is paired with my vintage cake stand.

My inherited tea set is also vintage.

I have found so many uses for small vintage pressed glass dishes. Here one holds my dessert forks.

So pretty, and so very inexpensive.

Flatware is vintage Rogers Bros. silverplate.

Vintage monogrammed luncheon napkins.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Ciao! for now!

  11. Dearest Jacqueline,

You got yourself some gorgeous Limoges pieces. They make a feast out of the most simple meal or sweet served in them.
I've searched in the Limoges collector's encyclopedia but didn't find that pattern either. There is still another book but it's my bedtime so I leave it with this.
