Romantic Nights

My table is set to showcase the salad plates I got last year from Anthropologie.

The subtle pink color made me want my vintage lacy beige tablecloth and ivory whites.

Each plate in the set of four is different.

The romantic themes work well with my vintage Wedgewood Queensware china.

The brown highlights made me think of transferware.

So I used a vintage brown transferware tureen as a centerpiece.

The tracery of the tablecloth ads to the romance.

The tureen and plates have small touches of gold which I decided to emphasize by using lots of silver in the setting.

The flowers on the tureen echo those on the plates.

I was glad to get a chance to use these vintage transferware bone dishes as accents on the table.

The pinks are close enough to my pale pink vintage teapot and cups to bring a touch more color to the neutrals.

Instead of the matching cream and sugar I added some glitz with more silver.

The short pressed glass vintage tumblers have a silver plate rim and reflect more light.

I've added tea lights to show them off.

This sterling silver dolphin-handled sugar and creamer is one of my favorite motifs.

The quiet colors make for a romantic evening table.

One of my favorite natural colored tablecloths with lacy details.

Thanks for stopping by! Ciao! for now!
